Cassis Bistro Lunch Menu
We proudly support Ontario produced meats, dairy and produce

Paté
House made paté, brie cheese, cured meat and croustades.
Baked Brie Bundle
Wedge of Brie wrapped in phyllo pastry. Served with croustades and finished with a cranberry Cassis gastrique.
Fromage Chaud Chevre
Warm Ontario goat cheese served with bruschetta and croustades.
Escargots
Stuffed into mushroom caps and topped with Café de Paris butter.
Gratin de Coquille Saint Jacques
Maritime scallops in a leek and cream sauce baked with Asiago cheese.
French Onion Soup
Traditionally garnished and baked to perfection.
Large Salade de la Maison
A medley of mixed greens, dried cranberries, tomatoes, julienne carrots, beets and cucumbers.
Choose from Citrus Ginger, Wild-berry Cassis, Dijon or Balsamic vinaigrette.
Poached Pear Salad
Fresh baby spinach, blue cheese, peppered tomatoes, walnuts and balsamic vinaigrette.
Caesar Salad
Crisp Romaine lettuce tossed in our homemade Caesar dressing with herb croustades and parmesan
Pannier de Pain (6 slices)
Basket of fresh baked baguettes with whipped butter.

Nicoise Salad
Boiled egg, roasted red pepper, green beans, Kalamata olives, potato and red onion over mixed greens.  Served with Dijon dressing and chef's choice of seafood.
Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad
Romaine lettuce tossed in our house made dressing and served with a grilled chicken breast, parmesan cheese and herb croustades.
Large Soupe & Salade
Soupe du Jour and our Salade de la Maison served with sliced baguette.
Quiche du jour
Chef’s creation of the day.
Pasta du Jour

Crevette aux Oeufs avec Saumon
Pumpernickel bread served open faced with baby shrimp, dill mayonnaise, boiled egg and smoked salmon.
French Onion Soupe & Salade
Steak Sandwich
6 oz. New York steak with sautéed onions, served open-faced on French baguette.
Croque Monsieur
Ham and melted Swiss cheese, served on sliced bread.
Filet of Salmon
Grilled Atlantic Salmon topped with a candied lime ginger glaze and served with basmati rice and fresh vegetables.
Seafood Crépe
House made crepe filled with béchamel, salmon, shrimp, crabmeat and scallops.
 
All sandwiches, entrees and Quiche are served with our Salade de la Maison (excluding Pasta)
